It’s Christmas, the time of celebration when winter and festive holidays all rolls up to make it grand. Christmas- the birth day of Jesus Christ is being celebrated throughout the world with decoration of Christmas trees, exchange of gifts, cakes, chocolates and singing of carols.
Like any other festival Christmas too has many customs which are being followed around the world. The customs and traditions may vary with the diversity in cultures. With time, these too have undergone lot of changes. Traditions and Customs adds flavor to the spirit of festive season. Different countries may be celebrating Christmas in different ways but the most common tradition which is followed everywhere is still exchanging gifts with loved ones.
One of the oldest practices which have been followed by children in many countries on Christmas is hanging an empty stocking on window or bedside with the hope that Santa Clause will come and fill it up with goodies and gifts. I along with my brother was amongst those practicing this ritual in our childhood ;).
Gift giving is a small gesture to make someone feel cared and remembered. A gift can do much more than just making someone’s day. The presence of personal touch in the gift can make it a lifetime experience for the person while building stronger bonding.
Everybody loves receiving gifts. Choosing a gift in tune with the taste of the receiver can do wonders. Special effort put in selecting gifts is always valued. Still at times in order to save time we tend to buy generalize gifts which usually falls short of expectations. Gifts in the form of Personalized Family Portraits, Photo Frames, Wall decors or table decors for decoration enthusiasts, Clothes, Jewellery, Accessories, Cosmetics for teenage girls, Techno gadgets, sports gears for teenage boys can be excellent options to win hearts. Unique and personalized gifts would become a memorabilia giving immense happiness to the dear ones.
