History
We derive our foundations from one of the pioneer personalities in the space of Indian Artifacts and Handicrafts trade. The journey began in 1973, when Shri R.C. Gupta left his secure government service with a single mission – putting Indian Arts on the world map. He did so by working hand in hand with rural artisans to keep the designs indigenous while at the same time launching a series of new products in the fiercely contested global markets. His efforts and the corresponding success which followed have been widely acknowledged through the many honors which he received. Carrying on the legacy, their grandson, Abhay, decided to take the journey ahead, by combining modern trends and decades of experience & heritage. Having seen all the art making in his own house since the very childhood, Abhay got a natural interest and taste in it. A successful & learned lineage along with his own zeal to travel & experience life resulted in what we call “Artlivo” in 2011 with a promise to deliver the outstanding work of small artisans to the world to create beautiful homes! We are forever thankful to R.C., for the innumerable contributions to Indian Art and to Artlivo.
