Nicaraguan Rosewood is also known as Yucatan Rosewood and Panama Rosewood. This species works easily with hand and power tools. It glues and turns well, and can be buffed to a good polish. Nicaraguan Rosewood is reported to have fewer cases of allergic reactions than other rosewoods.
